Even though we both had 2 left feet, my husband and I always dreamed of being able to dance. About 5 years ago we started taking lessons with the superb instructors at the Arthur Murray in Rochester. Immediately after we started, we wished that we had started twenty years earlier! With that thought in mind we encouraged our daughters to join us and take lessons. We are now and Arthur Murray dancing family! The fantastic instructors helped us turn our extra left feet into right feet, and our teenage daughters can now dance with confidence. Looking back, we realize that starting ballroom dance lessons with Arthur Murray was one of the best decisions we ever made. We love everything about dancing and find our lessons to be the highlight of our week. If you are thinking about it, the best time is to start NOW, and the best place to start is with the top-class instructors at Arthur Murray.

Ask some of the men that have been taking lessons at our Arthur Murray Studio and they might admit their first visit involved them being dragged thru the front door "kicking and screaming". While it may have taken them only a few lessons to discover all the Syracuse Studio has to offer.. I knew it before I'd even stepped onto the dance floor. I was barely in the door before they began to make me feel at home.
From the warm and sunny smiles the first time I walked in, to the smile they never fail to bring to my face with every visit--this crew is all about making you feel good about yourself. When my 10 year old son became curious enough to talk a lesson, they took the time to share their love of dance with him and now there isn't a lady in the studio that isn't blown away by the moves my little "dance sponge" has absorbed. One special instructor saw his potential and began a "Kid's Camp" knowing that he would have more fun and progress farther by dancing with other kids his age.
It's easy for us to look at the achievements of our children and be proud, but it meant even more to my son and me that all the instructors passed on tips and let him know how impressed they were with how he's progressing.
Dance for some people may be a great form of exercise, a way to socialize, express themselves, or even a confidence builder--for me it's been all of that, what will it be for you?
